    Did you use only concrete to make the table or did you mix it with sand? Doesn't the concrete alone crack in some points after it completely dried?

    Bro it looks beautiful. How would you do it if you were using a paint sealer? Actually which is more expensive a liquid sealer or wax sealer and if you use the liquid sealer do you have to polish ? Oh one more thing where do you buy the wax block?

    Has anyone bagged and vacuumed a counter top after pouring? I have done this with compounds to de-air them after mixing and before pouring into a mold.

    This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.

    What works best for me is, rubbing the mold with a thin layer of cooking oil, then spraying it in addition with dishwashing soap and watter mix, 1 spoon soap on 1 0,5 liter of water..making sure it goes everywhere. Then vibrating. The results are superb, no bubbles, perfect details, and easy release from the form. Try it next time!

    Oh!😮 I am so curious what else that chemical metal is used for besides this table -I will have to look it up… Also, why not just talk while you’re doing this? Seems easier for you instead of being silent and typing... (😅 Plus I’m usually doing a project while I watch these and sometimes I like to just listen to get the info… Maybe that’s more of the real reason I suggest this.)

  • @FknNefFy
    @FknNefFy Рік тому

    That’s pretty cool! I never knew you could get concrete to look so shiny! I think if you put it down on a really smooth surface to start and then paint a really thin layer of concrete before pouring it it will save you all the sanding or at least most of it!

    Didn't read all comments so i don't know if anyone mentioned it, but On your next pour do it more wet, also once concrete start curing it's a race , the longer you wait to finish it/sand it the garder it is.

    Grinding the surface does help with a commercial grinder. All the colours of the stones will be shown red greys yellows, even add black stones. Finish with a lacquer Extra vibrating helps, use a pencil vibrater. Made one in the eighties Cheers have a great day

    You could start to polish concrete let's say after 8 hours of setting with metal spatula, but that's different approach when you are able work on the top of the table the whole time. Ive seen it on industrial scale they were polishing the floor with lawn like machines but with metal rotating wings. The result of it is mirror like surface. But to the point amazing vid you made u inspired me 👌

    normally for the hole problem you have to make a thin layer of pure cement, no sand and cement, only pure cement and you have to put it before cement complete dries i don't know how say it in english "before sement FRAGÜE" "before cement SETS" and the cement have to be pretty liquid, like a cream so you can work with it. then you start polishing and evething thats the whay i did it anny whay that job looks amazing
